Kelly Rowland`s granny tells her not to eat
Kelly Rowland`s grandmother advises her not to eat if she wants to stay slim.
The singer loves showing off her toned physique in revealing outfits when she appears at showbiz events. Kelly regularly works out to make sure she doesn`t gain weight, but she has revealed she has inherited good genes as older members of her family are still in great shape. Although she enjoys a healthy diet, Kelly admits her grandmother is far stricter about food.
"You know what, I have to work hard but I also have good genes," Kelly told British television show GMTV earlier today. "My grandma is pretty fine, and she always told me, `You should never, ever eat. The biggest size I have ever been my whole life is an 8.` I was like, `OK, no pressure!`"
Kelly also addressed rumours she is set to work alongside Simon Cowell as a judge on talent show The X Factor. The former Destiny`s Child singer admits she would be interested in the opportunity, going on to praise current judge Cheryl Cole for being so positive and helpful to wannabe singers who audition for the programme.
"I have heard there have been some rumours," Kelly said coyly when asked about reports she is set to join The X Factor. "I would definitely give constructive advice. That is what I like about Cheryl Cole, I feel like she is very constructive as a judge and I feel like Simon is very honest, that is what I love about watching them. X Factor is a fantastic show, so we will see what happens."
